You'll find that LDOnLine is an inviting site for parents, teachers and children. Click on The ABC's of LD/ADD, for instance, for answers to questions such as, What causes learning disabilities? In the First Person section, you can read essays on learning disabilities by parents, teachers and kids. The site also features discussion groups with experts and other parents.

Another idea to help yourself check and see how your younger kids are doing with their computer literacy, can be found in the April 1999 issue of FamilyPC. These computer literacy checklists were developed for U.S. Kids Compute to provide guidelines and rules of thumb, not hard and fast rules. Not all kids learn and/or develop at the same rate.
A couple more sites for you to check into regarding this subject are listed below. However, if you cannot find the checklists for your, three, four, five, six, seven or eight year olds, you may e-mail me and I will be happy to send the list of 6-8 points per desired age to you as were printed in the article above By Joe Panepinto.
